    Worlds Prep — GO World Championship format

    The exact format players face at the Pokémon GO World Championships — the GO Championship Series (Great League). Build a team of 3–6 and bring any 3 to each battle. Your last tune-up before Worlds.

    The exact format players face at the TCG World Championships — current Standard, through Mega Evolution — Pitch Black. Your last tune-up before Worlds.

Same formats as Worlds

Friday is the GO Championship Series at Great League — the format Pokémon GO players face at Worlds. Saturday is Regulation M-B, the current Worlds-legal VGC regulation. Sunday is Standard including Mega Evolution — Pitch Black, the metagame TCG players will face in SF. Bring the team or deck you’re actually testing.

Lists

Worlds Prep events require the appropriate deck or team list by registration close. For GO and TCG, use the official forms from the Play! Pokémon Rules & Resources page. For VG Regulation M-B, use the classic Team Builder. Bring your completed list to check-in.

Entry

$5 per day for the Masters division, registered online above. Juniors & Seniors play free and register in person at the store on the day.
