Format

Standard format — Regulation H and higher, per the April 10, 2026 rotation. All decks and cards must comply with the current Play! Pokémon Tournament Rules Handbook and format legality requirements.

Chaos Rising cards aren’t legal yet. Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising doesn’t become tournament-legal until June 5, 2026, after this event. The official rule changes announcement covers the timing. Top Cut still gets sealed CRI booster packs as their prize. Build your deck from currently legal sets only.

Every player earns 1 Prize Pack just for showing up plus 1 additional Prize Pack per win, awarded at the end of participation. Three rounds played qualifies you.

Masters Top Cut prizing

Top Cut prizing for Masters adds sealed Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising booster packs. We label them “CRI” in the tiers below.

Juniors & Seniors

Free to play. Juniors and Seniors earn Prize Packs through attendance and wins. Championship Points are awarded by placement, same as Masters. TPCI awards an official Play! Pokémon TCG Champion playmat to the 1st-place finisher in each division. Other Masters Top Cut prizing is reserved for the Masters Division.
